Tamara’s directions are designed as a jumping off point for a free-form pixelated image. You can make your own pixel quilt with 1 inch finished squares using the techniques described below. The key to this quilt is choosing fabrics of assorted colour value. Try squinting your eye as you look at fabrics, or take a black and white photo of them to see value contrast.
